PAAR Gives Back to the Community
Despite the many challenges the Quad Cities have faced during the pandemic, PAAR REALTORS® and Affiliate members continued to push forward to make our community a better place, donating hours of their time to raise thousands of dollars in support of local service organizations and volunteer for events and programs that help those in need. These included Prescott Area Shelter Services, Veterans Food & Clothing Drive, PUSD Education Foundation Teachers’ Closet, Large Animal Shelters & Emergency Readiness, Chino Valley shelter build, Launch Pad Teen Center, Prescott Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 541, Mountain View Manor Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation, Chino Valley Homeless Children Family Resource Center, and AZ Gives Senior Care Clothing Drive.
In addition, the PAAR members coordinated community food drives, completed the installation of raised garden beds for the Stepping Stones shelter, hosted an Ice Cream Social for Yavapai Boys & Girls Club, and participated in the weekly assembly of lunch bags for the Chino Valley Hungry Kids Project. Of particular note was the annual Don Shaffer’s Coats for Kids donation drive that saw a record 1,200 coats, hoodies, sweaters, scarves, hats, and gloves donated to seven different charities benefitting children, adults and veterans in the Quad Cities area.
