PAAR receives Community Outreach Award from AAR
Last Thursday, October 19th, PAAR was given the Local Association Community Outreach Award for our service with Meals On Wheels. Earlier this year, PAAR's Community Service and Outreach Committee worked with the local chapter of Meals on Wheels to put together and deliver care packages to our neighbors in the Quad-Cities area. Donations were collected from our members, and packages were made by volunteers who then helped give them out on the delivery routes. PAAR was able to give these care packages to over 200 community members, bringing smiles to every recipient.
Our partnered work with Meals on Wheels has prompted the Arizona REALTORS® to select PAAR to receive this year's award. We are honored to be the recipients and look forward to continuing our community service initiatives. Thank you to our volunteer leaders and members for their continued support, and thank you to the Community Service and Outreach Committee chaired by Shari Howard for organizing these outreach projects. In addition to the award, a monetary grant of $2,000.00 will be donated to Meals on Wheels to further their work in our community!
